Find My Program

Takes 2–3 minutes · Provider review required

Pricing depends on several factors

The prices below are starting prices. Your actual cost depends on the program selected, provider review outcome, specific formulation, plan length, and individual eligibility. Treatment is not guaranteed. Provider review is required for all programs.

Transparent Pricing

Know the cost before you start. No hidden fees.

Open Water Rx is built around clear, upfront pricing. Review program costs before you begin, with no insurance required and no surprise charges hidden behind the intake.

Clear program pricing from day one

Every program displays its starting cost before you begin the intake. Semaglutide programs start at $249 per month. Tirzepatide programs start at $339 per month. NAD+ and sexual health programs have their own transparent pricing. There are no hidden fees, no surprise charges after checkout, and no bait-and-switch pricing. What you see is what you pay.

No insurance required or accepted

We do not participate with any insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is by design — it eliminates prior authorization delays, coverage disputes, formulary restrictions, and surprise out-of-network bills. You pay one clear price that covers the entire care cycle for that month. This cash-pay model means your provider's clinical judgment is never influenced by insurance company policies or reimbursement requirements.

No surprise add-ons at any stage

The all-inclusive program price covers your licensed provider review, personalized prescription if clinically appropriate, medication preparation by a licensed compounding pharmacy, discreet shipping to your door, and ongoing follow-up care including async messaging and scheduled reviews. Optional services such as GLP-1 care coaching or additional lab panels are clearly priced and never required. You will never be charged for something you did not explicitly choose.

Payment Options

Insurance, HSA, and FSA Coverage for Telehealth Care

Open Water Rx operates on a self-pay model, meaning we do not bill insurance directly or accept insurance as a primary payment method. This decision was made intentionally to preserve the transparency and simplicity that defines our patient experience. By removing insurance from the equation, we eliminate prior authorization delays, coverage denials, in-network provider restrictions, and the surprise bills that frustrate millions of patients every year.

However, the majority of our patients are able to use pre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds to cover their Open Water Rx costs. Because our services involve licensed medical provider evaluation and prescribed treatment, they typically qualify as eligible medical expenses under IRS guidelines. We provide detailed itemized receipts and superbills that include all necessary provider credentials, service codes, and prescription information for reimbursement.

HSA Eligible

Health Savings Account funds can typically be used for Open Water Rx services and medications. We provide itemized receipts with provider credentials and service details for HSA reimbursement.

FSA Eligible

Flexible Spending Account funds are generally accepted for telehealth consultations and prescribed medications. Submit your itemized receipt to your FSA administrator for reimbursement.

No Insurance Required

No prior authorizations. No co-pays. No surprise bills. No in-network restrictions. Transparent pricing from day one, regardless of your insurance status.

How to Submit for HSA or FSA Reimbursement

1

Request an itemized receipt from your Open Water Rx patient portal after your provider approves your plan

2

Submit the receipt through your HSA/FSA administrator's online portal, mobile app, or mail-in claim form

3

Include your Explanation of Benefits if requested — we can provide a superbill with provider NPI and service codes

4

Most reimbursements process within 5 to 10 business days depending on your administrator's policies

How does Open Water Rx pricing work?

Open Water Rx offers transparent, all-inclusive monthly plans. Each plan covers clinician review, compounded medication if prescribed through licensed pharmacy partners, shipping if prescribed, and ongoing support. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products and are not interchangeable with brand-name products. They are prescribed only when an independent licensed provider determines there is a valid individual clinical reason, not simply as a lower-cost alternative.

Can I pay with HSA or FSA funds?

Yes. Open Water Rx services and medications typically qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement because they involve prescribed treatment from a licensed medical provider. We provide itemized receipts and superbills upon request.

Understanding the Value Behind the Price

Open Water Rx pricing is designed to be transparent and predictable. The semaglutide plan at $249 per month, for example, includes the independent licensed provider review, the compounded medication if prescribed through licensed pharmacy partners, discreet shipping if prescribed, and ongoing async provider follow-up. There are no per-visit charges, no separate pharmacy bills, and no surprise fees.

Open Water Rx consolidates all care costs into one transparent monthly price. There are no per-visit charges, no separate pharmacy bills, no co-pays, and no travel time. The pricing model was designed specifically to eliminate the financial uncertainty that prevents many patients from seeking care.

Because we do not accept insurance, we are not constrained by insurance formularies or prior authorization requirements. Your provider can recommend the medication they determine is clinically appropriate for you based on your individual health profile. The result is genuinely individualized care at a transparent price point.
