About Open Water Rx
Open Water Rx is a nationwide GLP-1 telehealth platform serving patients across all 50 states with clinician-guided weight management, energy and longevity therapies, and men's sexual health services. Our headquarters are located in Cape Coral, Florida, and we operate entirely online — meaning patients from any state can access licensed medical provider review, personalized prescription care, and ongoing support without visiting a physical clinic. The fastest way to reach us is through the contact form above or by emailing members@openwaterrx.com. You can also call (941) 315-5217 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. We do our best to respond to all inquiries within one business day.
Whether you have questions about GLP-1 weight loss medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide, want to understand the telehealth process before starting, need help with your existing subscription, or are curious about whether you qualify for treatment, our support team is here to help. We also receive frequent questions about insurance requirements (we do not require or accept insurance), shipping timelines for prescribed medications, state-specific telehealth regulations, and how to transfer care from another provider.
Is Open Water Rx available in my state?
Open Water Rx serves patients across all 50 states and Washington D.C. through telehealth. Some states require a brief synchronous live video visit with your licensed clinician before a prescription can be issued. Florida patients, including those in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Tampa, Orlando, and Miami, have full access to our weight loss, longevity, and men's health programs. Contact us and we will walk you through exactly what to expect in your specific state.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your Open Water Rx program at any time with no cancellation fees. To cancel, email members@openwaterrx.com or call (941) 315-5217 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. You may also cancel through your patient portal. Please note: refunds are not available for a month once medication for that month has already been ordered by the pharmacy. There are no long-term contracts or hidden cancellation penalties.
Is compounded semaglutide legal in Florida?
Yes. Compounded semaglutide is legally prescribed in Florida when an independent licensed medical provider determines it is clinically appropriate for an individual patient. The medication is prepared by licensed, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies operating under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Compounded semaglutide is not an FDA-approved finished drug product and is not interchangeable with brand-name products like Ozempic or Wegovy.
What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that produced an average of 15 to 17 percent body weight loss in the STEP 1 clinical trial. Tirzepatide is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist that achieved up to 22.5 percent average body weight loss in the SURMOUNT-1 trial. Your licensed medical provider will recommend the best option based on your individual health profile, goals, and clinical history.
How much does GLP-1 weight loss cost without insurance?
Through Open Water Rx, compounded semaglutide starts at $249 per month and compounded tirzepatide starts at $339 per month. Both prices are all-inclusive: they cover licensed clinician review, medication if prescribed, shipping if prescribed, and ongoing async provider support. No insurance is required. No separate medication charges. No hidden fees. This represents significant savings compared to retail pharmacy pricing for brand-name GLP-1 medications.

Service Area: All 50 U.S. states via telehealth
Open Water Rx is a fully online telehealth platform, which means patients across the entire United States can access our services without traveling to a physical clinic or waiting in a doctor's office. Our telehealth model is designed around convenience, privacy, and clinical quality. Every patient receives an independent licensed medical provider review, and all prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate. We serve patients in major metropolitan areas like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Miami, as well as rural and underserved communities where access to weight loss specialists and longevity clinicians may be limited.
Our headquarters in Cape Coral, Florida, serves as the operational hub for our nationwide network of independent licensed medical providers. While we do not operate physical clinics for patient visits, our team is available by phone and email during business hours to answer questions about our programs, help with technical issues, and assist with subscription management. For clinical questions, patients communicate directly with their assigned licensed provider through our secure, HIPAA-compliant messaging platform.
We understand that starting a new health program can raise many questions. Whether you are curious about how GLP-1 medications work, want to understand the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide, need help navigating your state's telehealth requirements, or simply want to confirm that we serve your area, our support team is here to help. We prioritize quick response times and clear, jargon-free communication so you can make informed decisions about your health.
