To cancel, contact us at members@openwaterrx.com or call (941) 315-5217. Cancellation requests must be received at least 72 hours before your billing date to avoid the next charge.
Policy Overview
Open Water Rx operates a subscription-based telehealth model for GLP-1 weight loss programs, NAD+ longevity therapies, and men's sexual health services. When you enroll in any Open Water Rx program, you enter a recurring subscription agreement that provides ongoing access to independent licensed medical provider review, medication fulfillment when prescribed, and patient support services. This cancellation and refund policy governs how you may terminate your subscription and under what circumstances you may be eligible for a refund of subscription fees.
Cancellation is simple and flexible. You may cancel your subscription at any time for any reason by contacting our customer service team at members@openwaterrx.com or by calling (941) 315-5217 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. You may also cancel through your online patient portal if that functionality is available for your specific program. To ensure your cancellation is processed before your next billing cycle, we require that cancellation requests be submitted at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled billing date. If this notice period is not met, your subscription will be charged for the upcoming billing cycle, and cancellation will take effect on the subsequent billing date.
Refund eligibility is limited by federal prescription medication law. Federal law generally prohibits the return of prescription medications to pharmacies for refund or reuse once they have been dispensed to a patient, in order to protect public health and safety. Consequently, refunds are not available for subscription fees once medication for a billing cycle has already been ordered by the pharmacy. The sole exception is when your independent licensed medical provider determines you are medically disqualified from continuing the program — in that case, you will receive a full refund of unused subscription charges.
Damaged or incorrect medications are replaced, not refunded. We ask that you inspect your medication shipment immediately upon receipt. If your medication appears damaged, compromised, or incorrect, contact our customer service team right away. The pharmacy partner will replace damaged or incorrect items at no charge upon receipt of photographic evidence or return of the product. Replacement is the standard remedy; monetary refunds for damaged products are not issued except at the discretion of the pharmacy partner.
Understanding your billing cycle. Open Water Rx subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis aligned with your program start date. Your billing date is established when you complete enrollment and your first payment is processed. Subsequent charges occur automatically on the same calendar date each month. You will receive an email receipt for each billing transaction. If your billing date falls on a date that does not exist in a given month (such as the 31st), your charge will process on the last day of that month.
What happens after you cancel. When you cancel your Open Water Rx subscription, you retain access to your patient portal and any async provider messaging for the remainder of your current billing period. Medication that has already been ordered for the current billing cycle will still be shipped if the prescription was issued prior to cancellation. After your current billing period ends, your subscription terminates and no further charges occur. You may re-enroll at any time by completing a new intake, subject to provider availability and a new clinical review.
Medical disqualification refunds. If your licensed medical provider determines that you are no longer clinically appropriate for your current program due to a change in health status, new contraindication, or adverse reaction, you are eligible for a full refund of any unused subscription charges. Medical disqualification must be documented by the provider and confirmed by our medical oversight team. Refunds for medical disqualification are processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.
